Elon Musk remains surrounded by Trump

US President Donald Trump has warmly bid farewell to billionaire Elon Musk. Since May 30, he has no longer headed the Department of Government Efficiency Improvement (DOGE), as his 130-day contract for the position has ended. At the same time, Trump made it clear that neither DOGE nor Musk would stop working for the president. “Elon is not really leaving. He will go back and forth. I have a hunch,” the American president said. Trump presented the Mask with the golden key to the White House, explaining that “only special people” receive this souvenir. Musk, in turn, thanked the president for the opportunity to improve the work of the state machine. In his speech, he nevertheless criticized the president in a veiled form. Musk said he was still waiting for his task to be completed: cutting the state budget by a trillion dollars. In an interview with CBS News on May 28, he expressed disappointment with Trump’s flagship budget bill. According to him, there are large expenses involved, “undermining the work that the DOGE team is doing.”
